Can a chipped kitchen cabinet door be repaired?

Yes. We rebuild the chip with a hard filler, shape it to the edge and colour match it to the door. This works on 2-pac, laminate, melamine and vinyl wrap doors. Most edge chips are fixed in one visit and the door stays on its hinges.

Can peeling vinyl wrap doors be fixed?

Often, yes. If the board is sound we re-bond the wrap and seal the edge. If the wrap has shrunk or peeled across most of the door, a new door is the better option. We tell you which one from a photo.

Can you match a 2-pac colour?

Yes. We mix the colour on site against the door. We also match the sheen, whether it is matt, satin or gloss. That is what makes the repair blend in instead of showing as a patch.

Do you take the doors away?

No. We repair doors and drawer fronts where they are. There is nothing to unscrew and nothing to carry. On big jobs with many doors we work through the kitchen in order.

Do you repair wardrobe doors and vanities?

Yes. Wardrobes, bathroom vanities, laundry cupboards, built-in desks and shelving all get the same repairs. The materials are the same as kitchen joinery, so the method is the same.
