When a door needs another trade.

Some damage is not worth repairing, and we say so before you spend anything.

A door that no longer closes because it has swollen or warped. That is a carpenter job.
Fire doors where the repair would affect the fire rating. We will say so and point you to the right trade.

The MDF core along the bottom edge of a hinged door was damaged. We re-profiled the edge and colour matched it back into the finish.

Can a chipped door be repaired without replacing it?

Yes. We rebuild the chip or dent with a filler made for the job, sand it flush and colour match it to the door. This works on painted doors, timber doors and veneer doors. The door stays on its hinges and the repair is done in one visit for most knocks.

Do you repair apartment and hotel doors?

Yes. We repair entry doors, room doors and frames in apartment buildings, hotels and offices across Sydney. Builders and strata managers call us for doors damaged during a fitout or a move. We can work after hours so residents and guests are not disturbed.

Can you fix a damaged door frame or architrave?

Yes. We rebuild broken corners, chipped edges and dented profiles on frames and architraves. We colour match the repair to the existing paint or timber finish. We do the same on skirting boards.

Will the paint match?

We mix the colour on site against the door or frame. We also match the sheen. A repair on a white satin door is very hard to find once it is done. On timber we match the base colour and the grain.
