Surface repair is a skilled trade with real demand and very few people doing it properly in Sydney. We train the technicians we work with — in person, on real damage, to the standard our clients sign off on.

The work

PRECISION WORK,
NOT HEAVY WORK.

A surface repair technician rebuilds damage in place: filling and profiling a chipped edge, cutting back a scratch, lifting a burn out of timber, then matching colour and sheen until the repair disappears. It’s close, patient work that rewards a steady hand and a good eye — done on sites and in homes across Sydney, not in a factory.

Who we're looking for

THE EYE MATTERS MORE THAN THE RÉSUMÉ.

You don’t need to have done this before. What matters is patience, a careful hand, an eye for colour, and turning up when you said you would. If you’ve worked in painting, joinery, cabinet making, panel repair or any finishing trade, you’ll pick this up quickly — but we’ve trained people with none of that.

A steady hand – the work is done at arm’s length on someone else’s bench top. Small movements, held steady, repeated until the mark is gone.

An eye for colour – matching a finish is the whole trade. Most people can learn it; you need to care whether it’s right.

Patience over speed – a repair that is rushed shows up in daylight. The job is finished when it can’t be picked out, not when the clock says so.

Reliability – commercial sites work to a handover date. Turning up when you said you would is half of what a client is paying for.

No experience necessary – we train you on real damage. A finishing trade behind you helps, but it isn’t the entry ticket.

There is more of this work in Sydney than there are people who can do it. Training people properly is how the trade survives and how we grow — so we’d rather teach someone the craft than compete for the handful of people already doing it. If you’re new to Australia and looking for skilled work, this is a door that’s genuinely open.
